ATTENTION AKELAS!!!
This FunShop will be a real “tweet” for Wolf Cub Scouts headed down the Arrow Point Trail. Cub Scouts will be beak to nose with birds, have an opportunity to try a real birding experience and make a nesting materials bag for native birds.
Arrow Point Trail Elective #13
This FunShop will complete #a, b, and d.
Bear Cub Scouts will discover why it is important for us to “Share Our World with Wildlife” as they learn about endangered species and conservation measures used to help save wildlife. To assist local wildlife, each boy will build either a birdhouse or bird feeder (depending on season). The group will also enjoy an extinction party (of course only snacks will become extinct, not real critters).
Bear Trail Achievement #5
This FunShop will complete #b, c, d, and e.
Webelos aspiring to become naturalists can learn more about the natural world as they have the opportunity to be part of a bird presentation, look at animal behaviors and habitats and learn about and see some of the poisonous snakes in the United States.
