Caldwell Cub Club

Enjoy learning and play time with every member of your pride! Our Cub Club is designed to spark curiosity and appreciation for the natural world in preschool-aged (3-5) children. This program is meant to be enjoyed with an accompanying adult who will fully participate in all of the fun and engaging activities! Each class includes art, circle time, a story, and a live animal encounter.

Prices:

  • ZooMembers: $60
  • Non-members: $80
  • Prices include admission for child and one grown up and scheduled programming for 4 sessions.

Ages:

  • Cub Club is for children 3-5 years old and one grown up. This is a program designed for you to interact with your child while learning about different fun topics.

Meeting Dates:

Spring A: Feb 20, March 6 and 20, April 3
Spring B: April 17, May 1, 15, and 29

During both Spring sessions, your little one will explore colors and patterns at the zoo!

Frequently Asked Questions

Cub Club classes meet on Wednesdays from 9:30 am-10:30 am.

We will meet at 9:30 am in Uzuri Outpost. You will come through the front of the zoo and scan your Cub Club ticket to get admission for your child and one grown up.

If you know your cub will not be in class on the day of his/her session, or if you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible. You may email us at education@caldwellzoo.org, or call 903-593-0121 ext. 228.

Yes, absolutely! Your admission to Cub Club includes access to the zoo for the whole day. When Cub Club is over, you and your child may enjoy the zoo as long as you'd like.

Yes, but your Cub Club admission only includes you and your child, so extra admission must be purchased for each extra person that is with you.

Reservations are only valid for the session booked. Cub Club is non-refundable; however the reservation can be rescheduled or transferred when possible (as long as the request is make two weeks in advance of the first class). All camps are subject to availability. Be sure to read our Cub Club information and policies thoroughly. Caldwell Zoo has the right to cancel these programs at any time without prior notice for full refund. If your student jeopardizes the welfare of an animal or the safety of anyone in the group they will be removed from the program with no refund. All participants must be the age of their program at the start of first class. Any students that are registered for the wrong age group risk their reservation to be cancelled for no refund.
