Learn all about our resident black bears through an exciting encounter taking you behind the scenes. You’ll have the opportunity to watch a training session in action, learn about bear care, and see how we feed these magnificent omnivores.

Health and Safety Notice
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the zoo has adopted special procedures to protect the health and safety of all our guests, staff and animals. All participants in our behind-the-scenes encounters must wear a face mask. Encounters are available to groups of family and friends only. We cannot mix guests who do not know one another.
