Uzuri Outpost

Get out of the office and shake up the same old routine. Uzuri Outpost is a great spot for your meeting in the heart of our African Overlook. Just step outside and experience the wonder of massive African elephants, majestic reticulated giraffe and full view of the African Savanna.

If you’re looking for indoor comfort in a customizable, exclusive space our Outpost is ready to deliver.

You and your guests will be at the center of action while enjoying the benefits of your own reserved, interior space.

Decorations are allowed (certain guidelines provided)

Piney Woods Picnic Area

This wide-open, secluded, outdoor space is perfect for groups large or small. You can spread out in the shade of old growth trees among our abundance of picnic tables. There’s plenty of room to serve up a delicious feast, plus, plenty of open space for games, inflatables, bounce houses or just room to stretch your legs.

Food and drinks from the Chakula Café (at the African Overlook) must be ordered at least 3 weeks in advance of event
No glass receptacles are allowed on Zoo grounds
Decorations must be cleared by Zoo Event Staff prior to event
