To the many fans of Sox the tough and lovable red fox:
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a dear friend. Sox the fox joined our animal family in 2013 after being hit by an automobile on the outskirts of Tyler. Although the accident left him with some neurological damage, Sox was a real survivor.
For over twelve years, he delighted guests with his quirky personality and seemingly boundless energy. Over the years, Sox aged like the fighter he was. Despite having lost his hearing and declining vision, he would greet his keepers with enthusiasm and gobble up the tasty meals custom-prepared for him. We are honored to have provided a safe and secure home for this sly, ole fox. His tenacity and strength will certainly be missed.
